Building on a strong 6th place finish at the CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler, Justin Bonsignore and M3 Racing continued to improve this week, posting a 4th place finish at the Whitcomb 200 presented by Mobix & Town Fair Tire at Monadnock Speedway.

Starting middle of the pack at 14th, Justin was able to make up a lot of ground, but could not catch eventual winner Ryan Preece.  The impressive showing moved Bonsignore and M3 Racing into 6th place in the tour standings.

M3 Racing looks keep up the momentum on May 25th, when the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour returns to Stafford Motor Speedway for the TSI Harley-Davidson 125.  Be sure to follow M3 Racing on twitter (@M3_Racing) for the latest news and updates.

After a late race accident resulted in a disappointing 13th place finish for Justin Bonsignore and M3 Racing two weeks ago in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Icebreaker, the team needed a strong showing at the CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler this weekend.  Team, driver and car all delivered and took home a strong six place finish at Stafford Motor Speedway.

Qualifying 5th with a lap time of 17.967, Justin finished sixth finish behind winner Doug Coby, who led for 89 laps of the 200 lap event.  The strong finish added 38 points to the team’s total to carry Justin into seventh place in the tour standings.

M3 Racing will take to the track again on May 12th, at the Monadnock 200, at Monadnock Speedway.

New Addition to the M3 Family

First Visit

This past week, M3 Technology was happy to host a representative from Sikorsky Aircraft Company for the first on-site inspection of M3 Technology’s new facility.  The visit was very productive, and highlighted the many areas where M3 provides strength and value to a high level aerospace and defense contractor.  In addition, the experience and rigid standards of Sikorsky identified several areas where M3 Technology can improve its processes and procedures.

New Partnerships

In a move to increase the already wide variety of product M3 Technology can offer to its customers, M3 has cemented franchise relationships with the 3M Electrical Specialty Markets Division, and International Components Corporation.

Holiday Schedule for Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving and the holiday season fast approaching, M3 Technology has published its holiday schedule for Thanksgiving.  The company is still finalizing the details for Christmas and New Years closures, so please stay tuned for that announcement over the next few weeks.

Construction Progress

Two weeks ago, M3 was proud to announce the start of construction on its brand new headquarters.  That construction has proceeded according to  schedule and construction is on pace to be completed at the end December. M3 Technology will begin operations in its new home by early 2012.

This week M3 Technology began construction on a newly purchased, 26,000 Square Foot facility in Bellport, NY. The new building will house all of M3 Technology’s operations, and serve as its new base to support customers around the world.

Full Climate and Humidity Control in all work areas
10,000 Square Foot Warehouse and Storage Facility
Dedicated Inspection and Quality Control Area for Aircraft, Defense, and other mechanical parts, components and supplies
Electronics Quality Control and Inspection Area, fully compliant with requirements of IDEA and ANSI ESD 20.02
More than 40 Private Offices and work areas
6 Conference and Meeting Rooms
Full Gym and Locker Room Facilities for staff use
2 Full Size Kitchen Areas
Expansion Area of up to 10,000 Square Feet

All of these new additions will better allow M3 Technology to meet and exceed the expectations of its customers. The company currently occupies 15,000 Square Feet of leased space in nearby Yaphank, NY, and will continue to utilize this space until finalizing the move to the new headquarters.
