M3 Technology has participated as an active supplier to support the continued improvement of the electronics systems of man naval platforms.  In particular, M3 Technology has assisted in the development and deployment of the AN-SQQ-89A(V)15 Undersea Warfare System, which now forms the core of the US Navy's anti-submarine capability.  Developed for use and adaptability on multiple platforms, this robust sensor suite ensures that the US Navy can compete with and defeat emerging undersea threats which would otherwise prevent operational access to critical areas around the globe.

The AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 Undersea Warfare (USW) System is an active/passive sonar combat system intended for installation in a wide variety of Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) capable platforms, including Frigates, Destroyers, and Cruiser-type vessels.  The system is designed to detect, locate, track, and engage targets through acoustic signals to provide target classification, time motion analysis and control of on-ship weapon settings.  Integrated with the ship's command systems, it provides multi-sensor track correlation, target track management control and is configurable to fit a variety of mission requirements.
